Western Australia has reported its second coronavirus death after a man in his 70s died from the disease.
Nine News can confirm the man had fainted at home and was pronounced dead at Joondalup Hospital today just 25 hours after seeking medical help.
He had been a passenger on board the Ruby Princess. His death brings the state's COVID-19 toll to two, and 13 nationally.
Last Thursday, the Ruby Princess docked in Sydney after setting sail from New Zealand, with dozens of undiagnosed coronavirus cases onboard.
More than 130 people from the ship have now tested positive, and one 77-year-old female passenger died in hospital yesterday.
More than 2700 passengers left the ship at Sydney Harbour, catching trains, buses and even overseas flights to get home.
