Blizzard this week introduced the Spoils of War buff on live servers which increases Honor and Conquest gains in Battlegrounds and Arenas.
Spoils of War is a new buff currently active on live servers. It increases Conquest gains by 25% and Honor gains by 40% in Battlegrounds and Arenas.

Spoils of War - In Battlegrounds and Arenas, Conquest gains increased by 25% and Honor gains increased by 40%.

With this week's maintenance, Blizzard removed the Conquest and Valor caps and lowered the cooldown on the Creation Catalyst recharge. You will find more details in the latest hotfix notes.
We're not exactly sure for how long the buff will remain active.
