We've datamined some assets that hint at a jelly cat mount in Patch 9.2.5.

First, there's this icon that got encrypted in Patch 9.2.5 Build 42850.

The second element available for preview is a slime texture used for the mount.

While the mount isn't available for preview, there's already a slime cat battle pet in the game (Jiggles).

Back in September 2020, Blizzard held a poll and the community voted to pick their favorite mount that would be available to everyone for free. As you probably know, the Wandering Ancient won.

Other contenders included the Soaring Spelltome, which was later added for the Mage Tower, and even a slimy cat mount named Gooey Slimesaber! We assume this is the mount we'll be getting in the next content update. Here's the mount's flavor text taken from the official blog post:

"From the slime pools of Plaguefall emerged all manner of jellied creature, including this sticky kitty. A slimy saber cat that’s dripping with ooze, it’s the kind of mount that you’re going to want to wear gloves for."

We'll need to wait for future Patch 9.2.5 builds to find the appearance of the mount!
