Sean Connery's younger brother, Neil Connery, has died at age 82.
Multiple outlets are reporting Neil died following a long illness on May 11, only seven months after the James Bond star passed.
His death was first shared on Facebook by a close friend Steve Begg, who wrote, "He looked and sounded like his big bro so going out with him was always interesting to say the least. Mish you Neil."
Neil was seven years younger than Sean, who died at age 90. The actor died in his sleep from heart failure and pneumonia. Prior to his death, he'd also been impacted by dementia.

Like his brother, Neil also experienced a career in acting. He starred in the 007 spoof Operation Kid Brother and movie The Body Stealers (1969).
Neil started out as a plasterer before venturing into Hollywood. He also had credits in Wild Boy, and in a 1989 episode of Taggart.
Last year, his wife Eleanor told the Daily Record he'd been struggling with the death of his brother.
"He's just very upset at losing his only brother," she said.

On the subject of Sean, she said, "He was a person to be admired and loved and we just feel it's the end of an era. And that's really all I have to say because anything else would be meaningless."
He is survived by his wife Eleanor and two daughters, Martine and Leone.
