Kim Kardashian has come to the aid of a widow who was hours away from eviction.

The 40-year-old donated US$3000 (approx. $4000) to Angelia Cantrell after reading about her situation on a crowdfunding page. Cantell, a mother of four children — triplet boys and a daughter — had just lost her job, her husband died due to COVID-19, and she was on the verge of being kicked out of her home in Quincy, Illinois.

"When I saw the donation, I literally fell to the floor in tears. I shared the [crowd-sourcing] link with several celebrities, including Supernatural TV stars Alaina Huffman and Lisa Berry who donated as well, just simply asking them to share," Cantrell told Entertainment Tonight. "I never dreamed that celebrities would take notice of our story, let alone donate."

Cantrell said she was going through a "difficult time" and only "had hours left to gather the money" and pay the landlord to avoid eviction.

"Words cannot describe how blessed and thankful we are. This, by far, has been one of the biggest miracles God has given," she said.
