Fans are convinced The Weeknd purposely hired a Selena Gomez lookalike for his new 'Save Your Tears' music video.

The Singer, 30, released the music video on January 5, sending fans into a frenzy over a number of Easter eggs in the clip. His most noticeable feature was his major transformation in which he wore over-the-top facial prosthetics that made him look like a dramatic Instagram filter.

But fans were also pointing out the female model who featured in the video, comparing her Gomez, the singer's ex-girlfriend who he dated back in 2017.

"How is no one talking about how the girl looks so much like Selena G," a YouTube user commented, "Like this song is about her if you actually listen and the video confirms it."

Another user noted the similarities between Gomez's and the model's fashion, saying "The girl has a similar hair style and earrings as Selena in her music video 'Dance Again.'"

This isn't the first time The Weeknd has seemingly referenced Gomez in his music. His music video for 'Snowchild' was released on the same day as her 28th birthday. Fans also noticed the song was originally listed on Gomez's Cooking Together Spotify playlist back in April.

Despite what fans believe, and how both stars' music raises eyebrows between them, the former couple has stayed silent in regard to referencing their past romance.
