Drill rapper C-Hii Wvttz was fatally shot while leaving a Brooklyn studio on Sunday.

The New York Daily News reports that C-Hii Wvttz shooters opened fire on the 18-year-old's parked car.

"Jayquan was a good kid," C-Hii's mother's cousin Shawn Holmes told the Daily News. "He had a very kind heart and he had a passion for rapping. Music was something he was passionate about. I heard he had just left out of the studio."

The news outlet says the studio was actually a space rented through Airbnb. The rapper was leaving with female friend and other members of his group when a car rolled up on them and someone opened fire.

His shooting has not been linked to the Drill scene. Days ago, TDott Woo, was shot and killed just hours after signing a record contract.

People are saying Drill is too violent to be played on the radio and are blaming the genre for all of the killings.
