Congrats are in order for Chad Ochocinco and his fianceé Sharelle Rosado! The couple kicked off the first few days of their 2022 with the birth of their first child together., Serenity. Chad took to Instagram on Sunday with news of Sharelle’s safe delivery and an adorable daddy-daughter moment.
Serenity’s Arrival
“Just delivered Serenity “Hurricane” Paula Johnson,” Chad wrote in the caption of his post along with a footprint emoticon.
The photo Chad shared shows him in a hospital gown, orange bonnet, black face mask and purple, medical gloves. He appears to be holding a scissors, seemingly in the process of cutting Serenity’s umbilical cord. Unfortunately, any eager fans hoping to see a peak of their daughter didn’t get the chance on Sunday. Chad’s photo only shows a portion of his daughter’s leg. Both Sharelle and Chad haven’t shared any images of Serenity as of Monday.
According to People, a rep for Sharelle said Serenity was born at 3:23 p.m. in Miami on Sunday, January 2. She weighed a healthy eight pounds, 10 ounces with a length of 20 inches.
“Both mother and baby are doing well,” the rep reportedly said. “Chad had Latin music booming for Sharelle’s push playlist. Their doctor said it was one of the best experiences.”

Growing Family
Serenity is Sharelle’s fourth child and Chad’s eighth. They announced the pregnancy in August 2021. Nonetheless, Sharelle’s growing baby bump did little to curb her work ethic. As you may know, she recently launched a new reality show on Netflix called ‘Selling Tampa.’ Sharelle actually found out about her pregnancy while filming for the show centered on her luxury real estate business and its employees.
“It’s with full hearts, a ton of joy, and love to reveal… We’re expecting!️ It’s been so hard keeping this a secret but I’m excited to finally share the news with all of you,” Sharelle wrote at the time. “We’re so blessed to have such amazing people in our lives and in our hearts. Looking forward to a future of fun, love and adventure.”
