Britney Spears' fiance Sam Asghari has praised the singer's "army" of fans for their support after she was freed from her father's control after 13 years.
On Thursday morning AEST, Jamie Spears was immediately suspended from his daughter's court-ordered conservatorship following a drawn-out legal battle.
Reacting to Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny's ruling that Jamie would be ousted from the arrangement, Asghari shared a series of Instagram Stories.

"FREE BRITNEY! CONGRATULATIONS!" he wrote in the first post, while another, featuring a photo of a lion, read, "SHE DID THIS. HER FAN BASE IS CALLED THE ARMY FOR A REASON."
The image was likely a reference to Asghari's nickname for Spears, 'Lioness', which is engraved on the band of the engagement ring her gave her earlier this month.
The fitness trainer also posted a photo showing his hand and Britney's holding a pink rose.
