Two boys, 10 and 16, die in crash in southwest Queensland

A 16-year-old driver who crashed a four-wheel drive killing two boys, aged 10 and 16, in southwest Queensland is in hospital along with a 16-year-old passenger.

Two boys, aged 10 and 16, have died and two 16-year-olds have serious injuries after a four-wheel drive crashed in southwest Queensland.

Police say the car was being driven by a 16-year-old on a dirt track when it hit a ditch and rolled at Mount Abundance about 11.50am on Sunday.

Two boys died at the scene, while the other two were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police said they are still investigating the accident.
