One of two girls accused of the brutal beating outside a McDonalds in Gilles Plaines in Adelaide to remain behind bars.

A teenage girl accused of bashing a 13-year-old schoolgirl will remain behind bars until her next court appearance.

She is one of two girls accused of the brutal beating outside a McDonalds in Gilles Plaines in Adelaide, which left the alleged victim without her two front teeth.

The pair were charged with aggravated assault following the attack, which was filmed and gained widespread media attention earlier this week.

The teenager who appeared in court via videolink today allegedly instigated the vicious attack last week.

She is also accused of another attack of a stranger in Rundle Mall, which she was on bail for.

Outside court when asked if his daughter was dangerous, the accused teenager's father told 9News: "don't be stupid".

She will next appear in court on February 24. Her co-accused will face court again on February 28.
