A teenage boy has died after ingesting an unknown substance that led to the hospitalisation of five other young people in Central Queensland.
A teenage boy has died after ingesting an unknown substance that led to the hospitalisation of five other young people in Mackay, in Central Queensland.
Three girls and three boys were found requiring medical treatment after emergency services were called just before 11am yesterday.
A 15-year-old boy was in a critical condition and died overnight, Queensland Police said.

Police have declared a crime scene and are working to determine what substance the teens ingested.
"Investigations into the circumstances of the boy's death continue," police said in a statement.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
Police will address the media later today in relation to the death.
