A rare toy car found by a renowned collector could be worth more than three times the price of the real thing.
America's Toy Scout Joel Magee stumbled across what he is calling a "holy grail" find, an Enamel White Prototype Custom Camaro Hot Wheels car.
Measuring about seven centimetres the tiny metal toy could be worth as much as $150,000 AUD.
Magee believes it's the only Redline Enamel White Hong Kong Version, but he collects so many items that he doesn't know exactly where he found this one.
"It's hard to imagine a little toy car is worth more than a real one," Magee told Car and Driver.
Currently, brand-new Chevrolet Camero starts at about $25,000USD. They are much more expensive in Australia because they need to be remanufactured into a right-hand drive vehicle.
