A Bundaberg community is mourning the death of a three-year-old girl following a post-immersion incident on a farm at Moorland on Saturday.
Queensland Ambulance confirmed paramedics were called to a property at 10.15am and transported the toddler to Bundaberg Hospital in a critical condition.
Evangeline-Laura Watts-Marshall, known as Evie, has been described as having a "beautiful cheeky smile and gorgeous blue eyes".
A fundraiser has been set up to help the family pay for the young girl's funeral.
"Our beautiful darling three-year-old sister, daughter and granddaughter Evangeline-Laura was just to (sic) precious for this world and has grown her wings and left us with her beautiful cheeky smile and gorgeous blue eyes in our hearts, with also the great memories," the page reads.
The family has chosen not to elaborate on how the accident has occurred.
Police would only confirm that a report will be prepared for the Coroner in relation to the death of a child.
