She’s one of two division one winners – officials are still searching for the second winner.

A Queensland grandmother is returning home from a holiday in Melbourne more than $5 million richer.

The Sunshine Coast grandmother bought a ticket in Tuesday's Oz Lotto from Melton Lotto and TSG while in the area visiting family.

"I'm ecstatic and emotional! I just don't know how to feel. It's such a shock," the woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, told an official from The Lott.

"I'm down in Melbourne on holiday while I visit family. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would win Oz Lotto and become a multi-millionaire while I was here.

"I just don't think I am absorbing the news that I am a multi-millionaire. I think I'll be in shock for weeks!"

Holding one of two division one winning entries, she takes home $5,209,329.11.

The new millionaire said she's not in any rush to head home and will instead spend some extra time with family – but doesn't even intend to upgrade her hotel.

"I'm happy where I am staying because it's clean and comfy. I don't need much but I would like to stay longer and spend time with my family," she said.

"I'm retired, but I'm still pretty young-minded so there might be some new adventures for me in the future too.

"Apart from that I have no idea. I've got children and grandchildren and so I will probably sit down and have a think about how I can set them all up for the future.

"It will be a relief knowing they are financially secure. It won't be wasted that's for sure. It's going to make a lot of people very happy!"

Melton Lotto and TSG owner Phong Thai said he was thrilled for the woman.

"This is wonderful news and we'll be sharing it with our local community and regular customers," he said.

It's the first time a division one winning entry has been sold at the store since he took ownership, although the store itself has sold dozens of winning entries.

Lottery oficials are still on the search for Tuesday's second division one winner. The ticket was purchased from Narellan Newsagency in NSW.
