Number of children’s products recalled over mould fears

Multiple KaiserStyle blankets, pram accessories, and rattles have been recalled by the ACCC’s Product Safety Australia.

Multiple KaiserStyle products have been recalled by the ACCC's Product Safety Australia.

The recall was announced yesterday for Cuddle Blankets, Pram Accessories, Baby Rattles and Plush Rattles over fears of mould contamination.

Consumers are being told to immediately stop using the following products and take them to the nearest Kaisercraft store for a full refund:

The regulatory body says exposure to mould spores may affect those with allergies and, in some cases, can cause an adverse reaction, including an allergic reaction, infection or health complications. This may pose a risk to children with weakened immune systems.

The products that led to the recall was bought in the ACT, at the Majura Park Shopping Centre, between October 28 and November 8, 2020.

Consumers are advised to stop using the recalled products immediately. They can be returned at Kaisercraft stores for a full refund.
