An Adelaide Hills man has been arrested after allegedly "acting indecently" in a local cemetery.

Last Friday, two women claimed they had seen a man engaged in such indecency at the Stirling Cemetery, a short distance from Aldgate Primary School.

Plain clothes officers visited the cemetery that day and again yesterday to try to find the man.

Just before 2.30pm yesterday, officers allegedly spotted a naked man inside the graveyard. Cordons were set up and a police dog was called in.

PD Havoc was able to track the man through scrub off Cumberland Road, where he was arrested.

A 67-year-old Bridgewater man has been charged with several indecency offences.

He's been bailed on strict conditions and will appear in court on November 18.

The investigation is continuing, and anybody with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
