A baby who was reported missing from a Concord hospital this afternoon has been located safe.
A missing one-year-old baby girl needing urgent medical attention has been found safe in north-western Sydney.
Police had appealed for help from the public to locate the missing infant after she was last seen with her parents in a hospital in Concord.
She was admitted to hospital with a burn to one of her feet.
Police had urged the child's parents to contact authorities immediately or take the child to the nearest hospital to prevent the foot from becoming infected.
The baby was located safely in Carlingford this evening.
"The baby is now being taken to a hospital for medical attention," police said in a statement.
"Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance."
