A South Australian man has been arrested and charged for allegedly starting the Cherry Gardens bushfires in January.

A South Australian man has been arrested and charged for allegedly starting the Cherry Gardens bushfires in January.

The 61-year-old from Hallett Cove, a coastal suburb of Adelaide, has been refused bail and will appear in court tomorrow.

A truck weaves its way through the fire at Tarrara Lane in Bradbury.

Hundreds of firefighters worked battled the blaze in January, which burnt through more than 2500 hectares of land.
