A patron at a Melbourne pub appeared to pass out after a security guard grabbed him around the neck before removing him
A man appears to have passed out and been dragged out of a Melbourne pub after being held around the neck by a security guard.
The incident, recorded by patrons at the Dorset Gardens Hotel in Croydon, shows a security guard holding the man around the neck.
The man appears to become limp and unconscious before being removed from the venue.
Hotel publican Anthony Poloso confirmed the event happened on Saturday, November 14 and said the ejected man was alright.

Mr Poloso said the man had been removed earlier from the pub.
"He was escorted out first at 6pm then jumped the fence into the beer garden then decided to pour his own beers behind the bar," Mr Poloso told 9News.
"He was playing cat and mouse with security for 45 minutes.
"The one thing I stress is when anyone is asked to leave a licenced premise, please do so."
Police were not called to the venue at the time, but today confirmed they were investigating the incident.

"Police are investigating following a reported assault at a licenced premises in Croydon on 14 November," a statement from Victoria Police read.
"Investigators have been told a male was ejected from the Dorset Road premises before returning a short time later.
"An altercation occurred between the man and security before he was ejected a second time."
