The man accused of carrying out the Territory's biggest mass shooting in Darwin in 30 years has been committed to stand trial on 11 charges.

Crown prosecutor Matt Nathan read out the entire brief of evidence in court today, revealing more details from the night that Mr Hoffmann allegedly murdered four men on June 4, 2019.

Mr Hoffmann is facing 13 charges in total, two of which will remain in Darwin's local court.

His defence lawyer, Peter Maley, told the court he will plead not guilty.

Speaking to journalists after court proceedings today, Mr Maley said: "He'll have his chance to tell his side of the story".

"You'll hear the balance of the evidence which the police have, and largely its medical," he said.

"You've heard the crown side today. In the Supreme Court, it will all be properly ventilated."
