Rebels bikie Bradley Daniele has had his jail sentence extended after he bashed an admitted child sex offender at an Adelaide prison.

A Rebels bikie has had his jail sentence extended for bashing a self-confessed child sex offender in a shower block at an Adelaide prison.

Bradley Daniele, 26, punched Hamzeh Bahrami multiple times in the Adelaide Watch House in April 2019.

Bahrami had been arrested one day earlier over the sexual abuse of a young girl in a toilet block north of the city.

He has since pleaded guilty to charges including aggravated indecent assault and false imprisonment.

Daniele, who was already serving jail time for dangerous driving, laughed as he had his sentence extended to 18 months in Adelaide Magistrates Court today.

The court earlier heard a police officer working at the Watch House had pointed Bahrami out to Daniele.

CCTV footage of the incident posted on social media by Daniele showed him confronting and assaulting Bahrami before an officer used pepper spray to stop the attack.

Magistrate Rodney Oates said although Bahrami escaped without injury, the attack was unwarranted and cowardly.

"In my view, violence is to be discouraged no matter what the circumstances," he said.

"No one in the community should consider it their role, regardless of how opportunities present themselves, to inflict violence on others."

Mr Oates extended Daniele's non-parole period by two months to 10 months, starting from this month.
