A three-year-old girl who went missing in the Pilbara region yesterday has been found after nearly 24 hours.
Matilda Moule was reported missing about 2.30pm yesterday, accompanied by her pet Jack Russell dog.
She'd reportedly gone for a walk with the dog on her family's million acre station.https://twitter.com/9NewsPerth/status/1217720868232560641?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw
At 7.30pm that night, the heavens opened - flooding the station and giving police extreme concerns for her welfare.
Matilda's parents Kate and Nathan Moule knew the odds of finding Matilda safe and well were dwindling.
Fellow station owners even used their helicopters to conduct a sweep of the property.
Finally, after an extensive search over land and air Matilda was found near her family's homestead with her loyal dog by her side.
Staff from the Noreen Down Station were assisted by eight SES personnel, nine police officers, three helicopters and seven horses to find Matilda.
Gumpy and thirsty - but otherwise in perfectly good health - Matilda had a large drink of water and a cuddle from mum after returning to her family.
