Queensland residents are bracing for more wild weather today, with a severe warning issued for large parts of the state.
Up to 93mm of rain fell in parts of Queensland's south east when it was smashed by an intense storm yesterday, sparking road crashes and localised flooding.
A fresh severe storm warning for large hailstones and damaging winds has been issued this morning for Brisbane and surrounds.

https://twitter.com/BOM_Qld/status/1448682632590544901?ref_src=twsrc%5EtfwThe Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) warned the Southeast Coast and parts of Wide Bay and Burnett and Darling Downs and Granite Belt Forecast Districts, Logan, Scenic Rim, Southern Downs, Gold Coast, Redland City, Brisbane City and Moreton Bay Council Areas are in the firing line.
However a sunny weekend is forecast once the storms clear.

Farther south, Sydney and other parts of NSW saw hail, thunder storms, and even a tornado.
Hundreds of people called the SES for help, with a shopping centre roof caving in.
