Dramatic footage has emerged of the moment a truck slammed into the vehicle in front in Western Australia – right in front of a police car.

Dramatic footage has emerged of the moment a truck slammed into the vehicle in front in Western Australia - right in front of a police car.

Dashcam captures the accident on the Albany Highway in the rural town of Williams, 160 kilometres south east of Perth.

A truck hits what appears to be a B-double truck in front of it, jack-knifing half of its load into the air.

The road was covered by smoke haze from a prescribed burn at the time.

Luckily, no-one was injured.

Williams Police said shared the video, saying; "Please drive to the conditions and prepare to stop.

"Luckily on this occasion there were no serious injuries."

Yesterday Police, said in another tweet: "Police, farmers and shire workers narrowly avoided disaster" in the accident.
