Two thieves are on the run after breaking into a popular Brisbane restaurant and stealing cured meats, cheese and pasta.

Two thieves are on the run after breaking into a popular Brisbane restaurant and stealing cured meats, cheese and pasta.

They didn't take cash, but $3000 worth of supplies at a time of unprecedented panic buying due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The owners of Beccofino Pizzeria say they just want the offenders caught.

They noted the criminals had expensive taste, taking large quantities of duck, salami and cheeses.

One man was wearing a white t-shirt, jeans and black runners. The other was wearing a grey shirt and black pants. Both men were wearing hats.
