Australian cosmetic group Jurlique has been hit with an urgent recall notice for a number of its popular skincare products over allergy fears.
Jurlique Activating Water Essence 150ml, the Jurlique The Iconic Set and Jurlique Activating Water Essence Duo have all been recalled due to incorrect ingredient labels.
"The product does not have the correct mandatory ingredient label and may contain different ingredients to those identified on the label," a product safety notice on the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission website said.
"Users may be exposed to ingredients they are sensitive or allergic to. If a user suffers an adverse reaction, they will not be able to check the ingredients list to identify the possible cause and seek appropriate treatment."
The ACCC advises consumers to consult the ingredient list published on Jurlique's website.
The below products impacted by the recall were on sale between 27 February 2020 to 1 March 2020.
Jurlique Activating Water Essence – 150ml Batch No. A7458, A7784, A7871.
