A one-year-old boy is missing in Queensland after a man pulled him from his mother’s arms.

A one-year-old boy is missing in Queensland after a man pulled him from his mother's arms.

Queensland Police issued an Amber Alert and seek urgent public assistance to help find the child.

He was taken at 11.30am and may be at significant risk.

The man who was seen taking the child is believed to have put him in a car at a Raceview address.

The car is described as being a black, 2012 Great Wall with registration 617ZCU and was last seen heading south.

The child has brown hair, brown eyes and a fair complexion.

He is about 120cm tall.
